Here we see the victorious US Navy rifle team which competed in a match against teams from the National Rifle Association, the Citizen Forces, and the Royal Australian Navy, held at Long Bay rifle range, in Sydney, on 31st July, 1925...as you can see, they're using the Springfield M1903, which was the US service rifle from 1903 thru to WW2... If the SMH pic (link below) has the names/who's who correct they are (L-R) Back Row: Ensign Bartlett ; CGM Storm ; Sgt Peters ; Pte Kelber ; Pte Walker ; Maj-Gen C.H. Brand* Front Row: ?
