57 years ago... My dad was career Navy, enlisting 6 months before the Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor, until he died in the crash of his AJ-1 Savage in 1955. He was the Plane Captain. In memory of Earl C. (Bill) Bishop, AD-1 USN Lost with his crew 20 July, 1955 while attempting an emergency landing at Capodichino, Naples, Italy. I miss you, dad.
