Aircraft is a Curtiss SNC-1. Is it possible the title is a misprint? Could the first name be "Ovida" rather than "Oyida"? Never heard of the latter - but maybe I don't get around much ;-)

Excellent posed picture..hokey though because the rivets are already driven, and, more importantly, there always had to be a "bucker" holding a bucking bar tool which caused the other end of the rivet to expand. If he were really driving a rivet by himself, his left hand would have to be holding the bucking bar on the other side of the skin/rib. Neal
