There must be a mistake here. The Blackburn Swift (two bought for evaluation) never received any US Navy title. The FT-1 (or TF-1) was the Fokker T.III also bought for evaluation. Stig

1921 is far too early. The Swift had not been delivered that early. US Navy files lists A-6056 having an accident (minor one) on October 23, 1924 but due to late rescue it was salvaged to provide spares for A-6057. I am quite positive this is what we are looking at. Stig
