W J and Master Corcoran are listed amongst those out with the Wexford Hounds in January 1898. The final result was:

    Wexford Hounds 0 Foxes 2

I assume he had himself photographed to commemorate his promotion to Master of the hunt 9 years later. No mention of check trousers, unfortunately.

John Spooner As you say, where else would you be going but to the Freeman's Journal? And have have to say, I'm pleased about your score line! :) So location of Enniscorthy is sound then - thank you.

Also found in Thomas' Hunting Diary, 1905-1906, if you read around the OCR errors, that Mr Corcoran lived at Ballybane House, and was Master.

My grandfather and grandmother had themselves photographed in similar hunting outfits, with similar backgrounds, but I think it was sometime in the 1920's.
