    Unless there's a field modification, this a P-51A: look at the "L"-shaped pitot tube projecting down from the underside of the right wing (seen just behind the right landing gear leg) - the A-36 has a spear-shaped straight pitot tube that projects from the leading edge of the right wing. Also, unless it's due to this being a low-res scan, you'd see the dive brakes on the underside of the left wing if it were an A-36. Look at this photo, also from the SDASM archives: www.flickr.com/photos/sdasmarchives/4842012062/ You'll see the pitot tube on the right wing - one the specific identifiers of the A-36.
