Temple, at Shiba Tokio

Part of Toshogu in ex-Shiba ward of Tokyo City; current Minato City, Tokyo Prefecture. This building no longer exists. I was told by a monk at neighborhing Zojo-ji that it was destroyed by fire in the Meiji 20s. I wouldn't rule out the Kanto earthquake or World War 2, though.

The Bronze Gate (Iyetsugu's Tomb) at Shiba Tokio

This is Inuki-mon, formerly known as Naka-mon (central gate) at Shotokuin in Zozoji Temple in the Shiba area of Minato, Tokyo. Nagasaki University has another photo by Kusakabe, taken a bit lower and colorized differently.

The gate is now in the northeast corner of Zojoji, and is left closed.
