Was this type of Italian plane used as a medium bomber by the Italian Air Force throughout the entire duration of Mussolini's involvement in WWII? If yes, then were such planes utilized by the Italian High Command to bomb the British naval and air bases in the Mediterranean region, including Malta and Gibraltar? Anyway, were the Italian planes of this type also armed with torpedoes, in order to destroy those British submarines which were lurking below the waves of the Mediterranean Sea? Because during WWII, the British submarines were known to have preyed on warships and merchant ships which were from Italy and Germany.
