A lot of the same boats still sail this part of the Yare regularly but for pleasure these days, the one in the picture is heading to Norwich, Norfolk one of Norfolk's larger cities. The hill that the large house stands on is what would have been the sea shore long ago before the Dutch came to England and drained the sea from the land, the hill side is rich in fossils and known as the Bramertonian layer in geology. Is this picture or a print of it for sale ? Regards Richard
