    I see the remnants of an American Airways logo on the fuselage. Love the ol' Ford Trimotor. I wonder why the surviving examples don't have the cowl around the motors... Or, the fenders on the front wheels. Oh well, still great to know at least one is still flying. :)

    No I don't believe it is in Texaco hands just yet. Texaco was always quick to paint logo and company name on their aircraft and we see nothing of that yet. I have no exact date when it was handed over, but I believe this photo was taken roughly during early spring 1929. Stig
