  According to this extract from the Royal Commission on Irish Inland Fisheries, Blackadder may have left by 1900. Certainly no Blackadder appears in the 1901 census for County Galway. (In fact, there are only a half-dozen Blackadder families in the entire country for the 1901 census. Most in Dublin or Antrim...) It doesn't push down the upper-date however, as it seems likely it was still called "Blackadders" for some period after. (In the Fisheries Commission report one of those giving evidence refers to it as "Blackadders" even though - in the same page of evidence - Blackadder is acknowledged as having left...) To my eye, the attire of the man (poser?) in the boat would suggest early 1900s....
