In the 1901 census, MacDonald Charles Montague is 41, and married to Kate née Ringland. He is a D.I., District Inspector, rather than a DJ as listed here. Still a D.I. in 1911, he is in Rathgar visiting a George Baker I don't see Kate in 1911. Charles was already a D.I. when they married in 1884, address Sixmilebridge, Clare. Record of his death in 1912, still in Rathgar with the Bakers, of TB (4 years 9 months certified).
