The BuNo in the caption ("BuNo 150841") is incorrect. That number belongs to a North American Vigilante. The correct BuNo for this Boeing Vertol CH-46A Sea Knight is BuNo 150941 (c/n 2024).

we're living the western history (europa and usa) day by day in our last 70 last years (from 1940) So each ship, plane, political and social document is for us really intrasting. We love remember President Roosevelt and his story for USA so Kennedy position on international arguments, Reagan and his views on the economy and the state and...............and who?................we can't found the same prestige and levels in others President. From you story we see your planes and ships so we can see our need and choose. Thank you (really thank) to permit us to see these pics. We'll be in California again from june (from 1990 we've visit your country 53 times in different itineraries) and we'll visit your museum. We remember with a large smile Pima Air Museum, in Indiana a really nice Air Museum, in Colorado, the Air Musuem in Accademy, the white sand missile range (beautiful) in Montana Great Falls in AFB base museum and in the same area the National Air Gard in the local Airport, the Omaha SAC museum, and the last but not the least the Rapid City Air Museum into the local AFB. (please dont forgett Albuqeque Nuclear Musuem) We'll visit you. Mina and Gianni

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/41124765@N08] May I suggest a visit to the 8th Air force Museum at Barksdale AFB, Bossier City, Louisiana. You do not want to do the visit from June to mid September the sweltering heat and humidity is very unforgiving. There is an Airshow at this U.S. Air Force Base every year usually in late May to early June. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will be the featured flight demonstration team iether in 2012 or 2013 www.blueangels.navy.mil/
