That's the sole Boeing XB-38 version of the Fortress powered by liquid cooled Allison V-1710 engines (as used in the P-38)...40 mph faster than B-17 but lower ceiling....crashed after crew bailed out during engine fire en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_XB-38_Flying_Fortress
