    "Miss Rose Cade, a dainty Los Angeles girl, gives the laugh to superstition. She has accepted the office of "Queen of the Lemons" at the National Orange Show held annually in San Bernardino, Cal. Miss Cade not only doesn't mind being classed with the lemons, but scorns the idea of Friday the thirteenth being unlucky. This is the date for the opening of the orange show, the directors of which this year have adopted the slogan "Swat the Jinx." When horror was expressed over the selection of the date for the annual display of California's leading crop, directors of the show explained that weather records proved there was the least likelihood of rain during the period February 13 to 23 [1920]. More than a million oranges, lemons, grapefruit and limes will be in the exhibit."
    Rose Cade was a silent screen actress, known for "Greater Than Love" (1921), "Salvage" (1921) and "A City Sparrow" (1920). [1]

    This seems to be the Flxible/Rohr Transbus entry. Note the U.S. Department of Transportation logo behind the front wheels.

    "On May 13, 1975, one of the Flxible prototypes caught fire during testing in Arizona and was destroyed, but no one was injured; at the time, it was carrying two technicians, instruments, and sandbags to simulate a full passenger load."

    This series may have been shot at the Chula Vista factory because of the unique power transmission towers in the background of some photos.
