Queen Saovabha Bongsri, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saovabha wife of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V), mother of King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) and King Prajadhipok (Rama VII). Her son King Vajiravudh bestowed the title of Queen Mother Sri Bajrindra on her.

Thanks for finding her, Retired at last. We'll fill in her name in the record the next time we update. I love her knickers! I can't read the date on the "version" of the image that Bain used, but it appears to be very close to the date that the "original" image was used in the Klamath Falls newspaper which is very interesting. I believe this photo was taken at Arlanda, not Bromma. The background matches photos taken at ARN, such as this one: www.airliners.net/photo/Finnair/Sud-SE-210-Caravelle/0086... In any case the aircraft is a DC-8 and I doubt that this large jet type would have been able to safely operate from the short runway at Bromma.
