VC-3 disestablished at NAS North Island CA VC-3 was home based at NAS North Island, subsequently moving to NAS Point Mugu. www.forgottenprops.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/S-2.html www.forgottenprops.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/s2-tracker-1... Grumman S2F-2 (S-2C) Tracker BuNo 133382 1959-60: VS-21 as YA-11. Converted to US-2C. 1965: VU-3 as UF-6. VU-7 as UH-6. 1970: VC-5 as UE-33. June 7, 1971: Put into storage at the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) Arizona. Allocated five digit Process Control Number (PCN) 1S352. March 20, 1982. Sold off to Allied Aircraft Sales, Tucson, AZ. Subsequently scrapped and salvaged.
