Frank Foster would be the son of Francis Foster who had the tannery until his death in 1877. Frank the son, took it over for sometime until he decided farming was his lot. Francis was the father of my great-grandmother Martha Foster who married Hiram Crawford formerly of Oakham Mass but at time of marriage from Australia. Martha died in 1911 in Victoria Australia.
