    I really cant believe that I am seeing the photo of my Grandad on the internet, I have had the above photo all my life, and there were in fact two photos taken at the same time only slighty different. My grandfather is the young man in the trench at the back.His helmet has a dent in it which was made by a german bullet. He was in the royal warwickshire regiment I believe it was the 16th battalion. He told me that all the men in the picture were killed, he was the only one who survived. His brother was in the royal artillary, and the both went through the war, with my grandfather joining at fourteen
