Beech Model 99 N433SA

Skystream was a pioneer in downtown to downtown air service, Chicago-Detroit. This airport was indeed right next to downtown, but Detroit's "downtown" airport was some distance from the city center. Meigs later closed, so even an updated view is no longer possible. I. E. Quastler, the photographer.

Very sad about Meigs. The closing was a big mistake..

I flew for Skystream from 74 to 75 when they ceased ops. They then started up twice more and if the date is correct, I think this is the third and final attempt to become successful.

This airline's main route was Chicago-Meigs (downtown) to what passed as the Detroit downtown airport, but several miles away actually.
