Rue Bellan cannot be found on current maps of Senlis in Oise, so perhaps it was renamed or removed.

It appears to be misspelled and is Rue Bellon: www.flickr.com/photos/library_of_congress/6266479892/ However, it is (presumably) misspelled on the Agence Meurisse original of this and the other related Senlis war damage photos as well gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv1b9041829z . Meurisse catalog number is at upper right of Bain image. Meurisse image at Gallica has publication date of 1914. This local website, which has an extensive archive of pictures of 1914 war damage in Senlis, in most cases has changed the street name to Rue Bellon if it is spelled in another way on the source photo: www.bmsenlis.com/sitebmsenlis/galerie/index.php?/category/61

This is destruction from September, 1914 in the Battle of Senlis, and this image was a postcard of the eral: "House of Mr. Fenwick, 2d Hussar's Capitain" www.bmsenlis.com/sitebmsenlis/galerie/picture.php?/2319/t... Captain Fenwick's house was in a second postcard as well: images-02.delcampe-static.net/img_large/auction/000/058/7... The Senlis newspaper published an obituary for Capt. Rene-Francois Fenwick, in July, 1918, after he died on the battlefield.: "Mort au Champ d’honneur.
