The ANZAC's seem to have the Creative Commonspretty well sorted compared with the Imperial War Museum. Take a look at the latter's paltry portrait gallery. Less than a dozen. No historical interest whatsoever. Nice for the families but do you want a picture of my uncle, God bless his soul?

Any clues from the shop names? Looks like "Household ......." on the shop name at the street corner. Cannot quite read the name on the shop front behind the cart.

I posted this picture in my PhotoStream someone comented it as wast taken at Avenida Lerdo and Calle Abram González , rather than avenida Lerdo and calle Manuel Bernal. Maybe he (she) is right. Because from the point he stablishes there are about 100 meters from the barricade to the federal headquarters www.flickr.com/photos/jesusduarte/5872145394/ . And makes sense for the barricades. It has to ve evaluated sister picture www.flickr.com/photos/library_of_congress/2162705877/ in which the irrigation canal is the clue. Acording to actual maps of the city the camera is facing towards the headquarters. The buildings depicted here exist no more. The irrigation canal does, but is covered at this level by some structures.
