Las soldaderas por regla general no tomaban las armas, aunque hubo excepciones. Ellas atendían a sus parejas soldados dentro y fuera del campo de batalla, muchas veces exponiendo sus vidas. Se les conocía como "Adelitas"

It should be 'Revolucionarios Haciendo Fuego' and 'Propiedad Asegurada' as fotos_ericlv indicates well, it's such as a copyrighted mention. Thanks!
  • The Library of Congress said:
Godzilla_mx and fotos_ericlv: Thanks for the help with this title. We will fix the information when we update the database.

This is a great idea, i work with young people to help them make documentaries and it's great that there's a place we can find archive to use in their projects.

I think the writing in the photo refers to CIudad Juárez, Chihuahua.
  • Borderizo-Revolution said:
It does, and can only be one of 2 BATTLES, ONE IN 1911 AND ANOTHER IN 1915
  • Wystan said:
Has to be the 1911 battle, since the Library of Congress has not posted any Bain photos from 1915 yet. At this point (August 2010) the Bain photostream on Flickr is up to February, 1914.

Many Scott's photos are copyrihted scratching " Scottphoto 1911". Trying to find other Scott photos from years different than 1911. Dr. Roberto Duarte
