Must be Red Bank New Jersey, mentioned as site of an ice yacht race, perhaps location of adjacent photos: -22 January 1918 NY Times mentions a collision between Gull and Tyro.

TYRO (LOC)

Ice Yacht (or Ice Boat) Tyro shows up in a couple of NY Times articles:
    -17 January 1920
-13 December 1915--mentions that owner is Thomas Henry Grant.
-22 January 1918 NY Times mentions a collision between Gull and Tyro in a race at Red Bank, New Jersey. Given the adjacent photo of crowds on the ice is labeled "At Red Bank", it seems likely this is the site of these photos.

A recent reference mentions the Tyro, appears to be the same yacht--Fond Memories--January 2002. Remarkably, the correspondent, Robert Clark II, says (no date given) that:
My family still has the Tyro and we wait patiently for the ice to set up in the flats each year.

Yeah I was going to guess Red Bank as well - a lot of my research on my hometown a bit farther south of there in the New York Tribune microfilm files at the New York Public Library from 1914-1917 crossed paths with many such photos from Red Bank.
