  "PW" painted on the roofs over a Prisoner of War (POW) camp. This may be a mission to supply allied prisoners of war from the air just after the conclusion of World War II in the Pacific.

  According to www.guben.de/stadt/ortsteile/st_ot_breesen3.html (in German), the camp was in Guben Gross Breesen near the Neisse river (around here: goo.gl/maps/R1BMNVJuXd72) A description of the camp is in www.lr-online.de/regionen/spree-neisse/guben/Historiker-A... and in www.lr-online.de/regionen/spree-neisse/guben/Von-Masuren-... (in German) The camp existed from September 1914 until 1921. It hosted 10000 - 15000 prisoners, mostly Russians.
