    the tank is a "tankette", the British Army called them Bren carriers as they were typically armed with just a light machine gun, such as a Bren... They were captured by German forces and used for various tasks. They are very lightly armoured, and were only much good when up against infrantry...

    trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/163684616/16778455 - this pic appeared in the Sydney Mail on 19th December, 1906...in an article on the first of the Sydney Mail/Sydney Morning Herald farm competitions...see pic bottom lhs titled 'A Sturdy Team'...it's not clear where the pic was taken...presumably on one of the farms entered in the competition...
