  This is the sole P2Y-1C (ex NC2102) delivered to Colombia on Dec 31st 1932.
  In effect it was a military Commodore but I doubt such semantics bothered Noble Easton in the jungle... :-) Very nice photo, and I like especially the bite of this Shark!

  This is a Consolidated P2Y-1. It can be distinguished from -2 (typically converted -1 aircraft) and P2Y-3 models because its engines are between the wings. The later conversion and variants had their engines mounted into the leading edge of the upper wing. See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consolidated_P2Y
