Grumman YOV-10D 61-8888 1969 (mfr via RJF)

First of all this is a Mohawk and not a Bronco, which means the basic 1962 designation was OV-1 (not OV-10) The scan is not good enough to be 100% sure but the serial number do seems to show 18888. That was not 61-8888 but 66-18888 and that was in fact an OV-1C! However serial 67-18898 was an YOV-1D, which means if you can read the original better, we may all know what we are looking at. I am not good enough to tell the various Mohawks apart..... Stig

    A tricky one. I assume René states the photo shows the YOV-1D? If he is dead certain about that then it has to be 67-18898. On the other hand if he is not dead certain (as I said earlier I can't see any difference between the various sub-designations) then I admit it looks more like 18888 to me, making this an initial OV-1C 66-18888. It should ne noted that many OV-1C were upgraded to OV-1D (or so my sources say....) Stig
