  This was really a time when the river levels got crazy in Cincinnati! I used to live on a boat on the Ohio river. We had some floods (1997) but never anything like this.

  Thanks to all of you. According to the ohio history website, ohiohistory.org, it looks like there was a serious flood causing damage throughout the state between March 23 and 27th 1913. This could mean, Wystan, that the date on the photo is actually March 27th. We'll add the date the next time we update.

  Actually in this photo (as well as a few others), the boat's name is Belle of Louisville (not Louisiana). In this photo is the Belle of Louisville and the Delta Queen.
