    The Indian Head and Arrow on the side of the plane was used by Transcontinental and Western Air Express, which became TWA. Even as late as the mid Sixties, the Indian Head was still on a button on the pilots hat.

    I think this photo can be dated between Feb 6th and July 2nd 1931, since that was the only time the aircraft was NC registered AND in the hands of Northrop. Stig
