    This is an aerial photo of Miami. The building and tower to the left side of the frame is the Miami News Tower, better known today as "Freedom Tower". The area across the street from it has since been completely filled-in with landfill, and is where American Airlines Arena is located. See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_Tower_(Miami)

    The American Legion held their 42nd National Convention in Miami Beach in October, 1960. Their official program had reviews of suggested restaurants and had this to say about Betty's:
    "Betty's Restaurant, 1440 Biscayne Boulevard, is
    famed for her well planned, medium-priced meals
    and the Lobo Lounge is quite the gay spot at
    night."
