This is actually a photo of the Duo-4 at Muroc Dry Lake (a.k,a. Rogers Dry Lake) in March 1931, after a gust of wind caused it to nose over and collide with the car in the photo, as well as a camera (as seen in the British Pathé / British Paramount newsreel footage linked below). Of course, Muroc today is the site of Edwards Air Force Base.
