Perhaps an explanation is needed here. This is not a Vega but an Altair built after the single-engine production had already stopped, by a company known as Vega Co. Of course Robert Reedy knew all this, but the casual browser of SDASM site just might be a bit puzzled. It was given the name 'Flying Test Stand' and either it was not yet painted when the photo was taken or the name was carried only in spirit.... Stig
