    These people saw the cameera and it is interesting looking at their faces and seeing the different expressions as well as the dress styles compared to nowadays. The vintage sign above the entrance is cool and yet again this sis an amazing photo

    Tommy Burns trained for this fight at McEwin's (not sure of the spelling) Gym Fairy Bower. The gym was located on the promenade and was also a waxworks prior to this. Tommy Burns was reported in the press as training in a secret location. I was living at the time with my family just above the gym in Bower Street. I still have an autograph given to me by Tommy.
