I think this could be the McKinley Boys Home. It was founded 1900 as the Industrial Home Society, moved a few times around the LA area, from Artesia to Gardena to Van Nuys to San Dimas. In 1913-14 it would have been in Gardena, but about to move again. www.mckinleycc.org/whoweare_history.shtml
