This is Lockheed F-94C-1-LO Starfire 51-5607 "FA-607" w/ later pointed radome of the USAF static ca. late '50's. (No record of its disposition -- never made it to MASDC.)

This is Lockheed P-80C / TF-80C-1-LO 48-356 (Model 580), becoming the first of ~6500 two-seat Shooting Stars. Designation was changed to T-33A-1-LO in 1949. First flight as a TF-80C was on March 22, 1948, flown by Tony LeVier. It was then converted to be the YF-94A prototype (Model 780) w/ a first flight on April 16, 1949. Later modified into the prototype for the F-94B. Flying in this picture with an afterburning Allison J-33 jet engine, original one-piece bubble canopy and under-wing tip tanks. Eventually retired and displayed at Lackland AFB, TX. Preserved today @ the Edwards AFFTC Museum ("Awaiting Restoration").
