    St Oswalds Church can be seen centre left in front of the Cathedral and the picture was probably taken from the Mountjoy / Hallgarth area on the Southern edge of the city.

    Seems to be taken from 54.769652,-1.567869 (WGS84) looking 307* NW. The street in the foreground is the junction of Hallgarth St with Stockton Rd. Some of the houses on Hallgarth St are still there today.

At this point this avenue bifurcates into De los Fresnos Street and Hércules Oriente. Querétaro, Querétaro, México. NOT ZACATECAS.
