Does look like Budapest. Széchenyi Chain Bridge is the formal name of the bridge. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sz%C3%A9chenyi_Chain_Bridge . post 1849 when the bridge opened.

I think the "bridge" is something similar to the front of Government Buildings, and that this is one side of a central courtyard. Hargrave was previously as far away as the Czech Republic so it may not be in Ireland...

Sharon Corbet The sentry boxes with staggered stripes are used in Prague. Possibly not uniquely, though.

beachcomber australia I don't know - my Danish granny had sunshades on her house here in very unsunny Ireland. But those statuettes around the roof edge seem more continental to me.
