Key West stunt pilot (Fred R.) Freddy Cabanas died in a plane crash in Cozumel, Mexico, on January 15, 2013. "A passenger, Jorge Lopez Vives, host of an extreme sports program, also died in the crash that occurred at a private airfield on the southern island of Cozumel in the state of Quintana Roo, an international tourist destination. The pair were filming a documentary to promote an airshow when the accident occurred, according to Cozumel authorities."[1]   Freddy was not flying his own airplane at the time. “It has been said that Freddy Cabanas, Key West pilot and superhero, turned more people on to flying than all of the US Air Force combined." Courtesy of Malcolm Fillmore via Air-Britain's ABIX forum we have an excellent compact history of H J White's aircraft incl. a Stinson, and this Beech 17 Henry White was employed by Vacuum Oil as their UK based Aviation Representative at Heston between (at least) 1933 and 1936. Also based at Heston with Vacuum Oil and flown by White were Stinson Junior R NC12157 (deld Heston July 1932 and later OO-HVS) and Beech 17 NC12584 (which did a European tour in August 1934).

Same aircraft, Cessna C-78, (USAAF Ser. No. 43-7841) another angle: As per the Joe Baugher site (link): "43-7841 (82 ADS) damaged in landing accident at Maastricht, Netherlands, Nov 6, 1944"
