The narrow body of water, the background and the subjects immediately made me think Kerry, and more specifically Valentia Island. I think if you look at the triangular shaped field in the back ground on the left and the line of trees from the shore, it matches up with the view from this link looking across a boggy field from Carhan Lower, Co. Perhaps somewhere near the camera is Mr Tilbrook's Ford Consul YBJ 427. The date on the other photo is "ca. 1960" - did they make several trips to the Ring of Kerry ?
