The manufacturer's EKW's full name is Eidgenössische Konstruktionswerkstätte (Swiss Federal Constructions Works) the type is C-36, not EKW-36. This particular machine "C-494" is a C-3605 subtype. (by the way it is still flying as HB-RDB: www.flugzeuginfo.net/acdata_php/acdata_ekwc36_en.php ) A good way to identify it is: EKW (Eidgenössische Konstruktionswerkstätte, Swiss Federal Constructions Works) C-3605
