Tewfik Pasha was Khedive of Egypt. According to his Wikipedia bio, he died in 1892: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tewfik_Pasha Which means this is either a photo of a photo or this was taken prior to 1892.

Captainslack: Thank you for your comment and interest. However, we think that the photograph is not Tewfik Pasha, Khedive of Egypt (1845-1892), but Ottoman Grand Vizier Ahmed Tevfik Pasha (1845-1936). Take a look at the Wikipedia entry: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahmed_Tevfik_Pasha . What do you think?
