I've been in this mill many times to work. It's just down the road from me. My grandfather worked there during the war in place of my great-uncle (his brother) who flew a B-24. When the war ended by grandpa got the boot and his brother had been killed in the Pacific. War is hell and so is the after-peace sometimes.

Allied Ironfounders became Stanley later. Ive never seen a stove with the firebox on the right. Not very handy if right handed.

According to this m.facebook.com/oldwaterford/photos/allied-ironfounders-bi... , it would have been prooduced at the Iron Foundry at Bilberry, Waterford on the site of what had once been the Waterford South Railway Station. The factory later became Stanley, famous for their ranges. Using this page to compare the maps osi.maps.arcgis.com/apps/dashboards/d5bdc7daef3e4537b67ca... we see that the 25" map has the Waterford South Railway station, whereas the latest version of the 6" map shows "Foundry" on the same site. It now seems to be a vacant site.
