    This is a picture of my Aunt. I wasn't even born at the time this picture was taken. Aunt Jean has sense past away. I wonder what the fate of that plane was. Would love to know the call #'s on the plane.

The air field included "paved runways, aprons, hangars, barracks, mess hall, classrooms and recreational facilities," according to the Tucson Airport Authority. It closed in Sept. 1944, after training 6,000 pilots. Ryan Field is now (2018 info) a civil aviation airport managed by the Tucson Airport Authority.
