  It's 1395 Archimedes, a Webb Dreadnought class divided drive compound. Note the large cylinder-head cover above the buffer beam.
  
  She was built at Crewe in 1886 and scrapped in 1904.

  Handsome engines but prone to slipping. You can't see it in the
  picture but these were actually 2-2-2-0 not 2-4-0. The drivers were
  uncoupled. If one pair of drivers slipped it lost that one's share of
  adhesive weight and the other pair slipped almost immediately.

  I think this is dated 1926, and is probably taken during the General Strike. It looks like it says 5/4/26, which makes it the 4th May 1926, second day of the strike.
