    This looks like some kind of environmental test chamber. They harness at right is plugged into the missile electronics. The cool (or heat) the missile and make sure the electronics work as designed.

    Beautiful photo. Looks like a air-dropped torpedo on a shaker table? The table is like a giant, water-cooled speaker coil. It causes the test article to shake at whatever frequency the engineers select. It is loud. For example, one Ling product generates up to a 6,000-pound (2,722 Kg) force, moving the article 1.5 inches up and down. The sign next to the operator says, "System Number 1."
