There is a public tree on the Ancestry website which has a photograph of the VC victory reception at Blandford Forum in 1918. He was born on 3rd Nov 1898. He married Ada Mary Louise Vauvert by licence at St Dunstan's, Edge Hill, Liverpool on 27th August 1921. At that time Jack gave his occupation as Soldier and was residing at the Recruiting Office, Old Haymarket. The VC database shows that Jack died whilst visiting relatives at Blandford Forum on 16th September 1970. His ashes are buried at St Andrew's Churchyard, St Helier, Jersey.
