    Signs in the photo show this was the Chatham Square station. City Hall is not shown, but the tall building at upper right is the 40-story Manhattan Municipal Building, first occupied in 1913. The view is approximately southwest along Park Row. Cowperthwaite & Sons, at center, was a large home furnishings company founded in 1807, and located at 193-205 Park Row in Chatham Square. The sign on its building says "now in its 106th year", dating the picture to not before 1913. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manhattan_Municipal_Building books.google.com/books?id=ZHcxAQAAMAAJ&pg=PA78-IA10&a... All of these tracks and structures have been demolished.
