In 1919, General Lionel Evelyn Oswald Charlton was air attaché to the British Embassy at Washington; Captain T. T. Craven was director of the United States Naval Air Service. The New-York tribune., July 05, 1919 Page 2, col. 1 reported that they were both at Mineola.
