Republic XF-84E-15-RE (YF-96A) Thunderstreak 49-2430 under test as a parasite fighter (FICON = "Fighter Conveyor") with GRB-36F-1-CF Peacemaker 49-2707 (later re-re-designated as JRB-36F). Chase a/c is EF-84E 49-2115; pilots were Maj Clyde Good and Lt Col Clarence E. "Bud" Anderson (WWII ace in "Old Crow" Mustangs). The Thunderstreak prototype is now at the NMUSAF in the R&D section.
